About the Role:

The Wize Company is seeking an experienced Design Engineer (Modeler) specializing in steel structures. You will be responsible for designing, modeling, and analyzing structural components, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with AISC standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• 4–5 years of experience in structural design and modeling, particularly with steel structures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, Tekla Structures, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of AISC standards and international design codes.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, detailers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project scope, specifications, and client requirements.
• Prepare wireframe and connection models using Tekla Structures.
• Model stairs, handrails, and other steel components accurately.
• Incorporate approver comments and prepare post-review queries.
• Ensure adherence to AISC, AWS, and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate team workflow and raise RFIs as required.
• Generate assembly drawings, multi/single-part drawings, CNC files, XML, ABOM, and related reports.
• Deliver the final submission package to clients with accuracy and completeness.
